Tennis is my Happy Place

My name is Natalie LeBaron and I am from Murrieta, CA. I have been married for 37 years and have 5 grown kids. We also have 7 Grand kids,1 girl and 6 boys! We love spending time with our grand kids.

One of my happy places is playing Tennis! Typically I play 2 times a week- 1 time at the Tennis Club in a Clinic and with other ladies doubles at Bear Creek Tennis Courts.
*Here is a little fun fact (off the subject a a little!): Another happy place of mine is Zip lining. Here is a video when we went to Hawaii last week:

I started playing Tennis when I was in my late 40's. My friend Judy asked if I'd like to join her and I told her that I am not really good at "sports".  She promised that I would love it and so I went to the beginners classes and LOVED it! We can't say we are not good at something unless we try and put effort into it.Here is the link to my Tennis club: http://murrietatennisclub.com/.

Once I felt more confident, I went on to join a "round robin" tournament and came in 1st and 2nd place in a couple different tournaments!  When I go to tennis, I feel that I can perform better at work and my mind is more clear.
I work full time in sales and also attend online College and so my life is very busy. Tennis has been a benefit to my physical and mental health along with playing with great friends and forming relationships.
Keeping fit by doing something you love is a double bonus in my opinion. It is also a good example to my kids and grand kids about continuing to stay active and have fun!
There is another sport similar to Tennis called "pickleball". I have also been learning to play that sport as well and like it too. My husband has also been playing so we can do this together.
Tennis is easy to learn and I watch the US Open and other Tennis on TV and You Tube to learn more.
Life is good and I am so thankful.
